Timid little hands
Callused at the top
Holding his little heart
Careful it won't drop
Splits and cracks and cuts
Running through all the part
Held together by stitches
Like his little broken heart
Patchwork heart in hand
Depression became too real
So I'll hold his tiny heart
And give it time to heal
