Discrepancies (Born Better Than Me)

   Chorus 1:
We all have our discrepancies
But this time you were born better than me
I'm a sinner, you're a saint, but it's all inside the name,
Your history books won't include me,
Just one of our discrepancies.

But when you fall I won't catch you,
Because that's the sinner you make me out to be
Inside I want you to owe me,
But how does that work when you don't even know me?!

  Chorus 2:
You were born better than me:
Spoiled, perfect,  all around worth it,
But not in my history,
That's another discrepancy,
You were just born into family

You've tasted luxury, smelled heaven,
I've been stuck in your hell
But in my books you're the one who fell,
Stooped so low you can't even tell that

  Chorus 2:
You were born better than me:
Spoiled,  perfect,  all around worth it,
But not in my history,
That's another discrepancy,
You weren't born better than me

  Chorus 1:
We all have our discrepancies
But you were born better than me
I'm a sinner you're a saint, but it's all inside our names
My history books say you're the enemy,
Just another little discrepancy

We all have our discrepancies,
But I was born better,  you see,
You're a sinner, I'm a saint, that's what's in a name
You're history books won't include me,
Just another little discrepancy.
