DYING QUIET

If you never forget your mistakes.

At least you'll always remember me.

The way you infected me with your energy.

The many ghosts of you still sing.

How many lives have you had?

Cherished or wasted...

How many times will you stand,

and hold hands with hatred?

Sometimes you made sure the world noticed when you weren't around.

But most of the time you preferred

Dying quietly...
