as summer bleeds the last shades of emerald
sinking to the ebony pit of dead emotions
submerged within withered dreams and decayed love
why should it carry on, when the last of hope is gone?
the roses's thorn, the scorpion's sting
heartache all the sad songs bring
we sleep with sin and love, abuse
and when the fortune wheel spins, you lose
you lose...
