I was a Math teacher, I don't know about being a poetry teacher (LOL)...you're good haiku poet yourself Lady Peninnah.
Traditional Japanese haiku is really easy to learn as long as you stay within its parameters and elements.
That breathtaking picture is just a daily sight in my place of birth. I'm glad you like both the poem and the image that goes with it. Thanks...
