Be Fearless
We all have a story to tell
A different perspective of the world
Some of us face demons
Pain that dwells deep in our heart
Voices that talk incessantly and just won't quit
Paranoia that keeps us from the mainstream
This is therapy for me
I try to be fearless and honest
With the poems I write
I can't say I don't care if no one gets it
That would be a lie
I think we all want to connect on some level
With the people who post here
Baring their souls
To the bone, to the core
Raw pain only they can feel
Step into the shoes of your brothers and sisters
Just for a day
We all have a voice
Something to say
Some more eloquent and powerful
Some brand new writers like me
Maybe I'm not a writer at all
Just a lady with a voice
Singing i'm part of this Earth

Get it all off your chest
Mystical places, erotica, philosophical ponderings
Hard hitting punches to the mouth
What ever it may be let your poems
Take you to a better plane

I like that part. It's very strong, in terms of its poetic aspect, but also its message.
