A Future Seen Before Today

For as long as I can remember,
i've seen you a thousand times,
when I used to sleep.
I don't think you hinder,
my thoughts,
as they've always been mine,
as the thoughts of a child are simple and bleak.
Never clear,
was your beautiful smile,
so I thought nothing of these dreams.
Now you're here,
and i'd like to stay for awhile,
to sew together these memories with my seams.
A look into tomarrow,
an image of events caused by yesterday,
and a seizure of why.
Your dreams may I borrow,
to see if you've seen me before today,
