For A Friend
She has known him
almost her whole life
of course school
relationships
re~locations separated
them for long periods
of time
When they reconnected
it was as if no time
had passed between them
She was going through
a rough patch
and so was he
they found comfort in
communicating with each other
but it was not the time
to take it any further
than that, now or possibly ever
but he turned the tables on her
and expressed….love?
he became
competitive in who was
fairing worse
apparently it was him
more than he realized
she deleted him from her
pages
who knew it could be
that simple?

Dearest Rina…maybe it is just where I am in my life right now, I have no tolerance for BS !! Pretty much have had enough of that for 10 life times. :)

I totally understand where you're coming from JeJe, i guess i was thinking about relationships which have had some history and those are the ones which are so hard to pull the plug even with all the BS.
Yes…I totally understand that Rina. Being in a long relationship, a marriage, I think we tend to put up with a lot of BS, a lot more than we should. Maybe because we tend to just let it go, or we ignore it, or get blind to it. But now, when I see it it is crystal clear. Plus, he is in a relationship. And I don't play like that! :) ox
(To be perfectly clear, when we started conversing, his relationship had ended..and he knew mine was at an end..in the meantime, he started a new relationship with a beautiful woman who is crazy about him..so, for him to go there..to the love thing... with me is wrong.)

Yes, in long relationships we do put up with a lot of BS, we make excuses and try to talk ourselves into believing it's because of other reasons that dignifies their behavior. Their are a lot of people out there, not necessarily evil in there ways but users.... in the fact they wont face there own issues to create there own better future.
