Waiting Unspoken Promise
Parenthetical logic brackets little understanding
Those blue sapphires speak wonder, but throughout
restless mind of hidden motives brings doubt.
It's not about trust, but what trust let's out.
I live in transparent, though cover my literal tracks
because I want to believe in her, I'm still there.
Belief harkens faith, and right now thin air
is all that keeps me breathing in, watchful eyes stare.
I need an undefinable something... a proof
I step back now to see what return there may be
not in terms of payback, but love gracefully
not at cost but simple and given to me.
Though direct helps, sometimes I feel the need not to ask.
