Aim

I'm not sure what I'm doing here, but I believe it's for the best.
I'm not sure why my hand aims directly at you.
You see the anger from my face drip directly down to hell.
Then you cry like you care and shout,
"What the hell did you do, you crazy bastard?"
I laugh like a mad man and say, "I'm coming after you."

I replace my skin
Just to start again.
But I'd rather burn a hole in my chest than to let you win.

You see, my heart is withering away like it was supposed to be there.
My voice is low like I actually cared.
But I don't give a fuck, I've lost my aim.
It appears that I am addicted to this change.
But all the vodka I have consumed is burning within my chest like a parasite.
And all I'm left with is the light of the stars in the darkness of the sinful night.

Daisies fill the holes of those with vulnerabilities.
You remind me of a curse that was thrust upon the moon,
Who is only allowed to see her lover as her eyes open from a deep sleep.
You cry and cry and blame yourself like you should.
You are well aware of some things you shouldn't know.
"Goodbye," I say as my wings make me bleed.
