PRODIGAL
I ran into a salmon belly sun
Jumping high without a look behind me
Such a holla such spin-deemed tilted moon tunes
Screams of foxes fucking my own bukkake demons
Spewing amongst the ripped guts of dustbin bags gurning
As magenta turned to grey I lost my way and in the dark
A humble crack whistle fisting for an echo
I tripped tripping was tripped and tripled took a tumble
Falling into my self made nothing
Crawling low a creeping ground gut an obscene outshut welted
Wedded to an unseen ode to insurrection without direction
I cried like a baby
Steps again after falling after falling after falling
Astray asleep walking parsley thyme and sage
Heals everything and everyday
A new beginning and I jump high
The salmon belly sun behind me
Jumping high without a look behind me
Such a holla such spin-deemed tilted moon tunes
Screams of foxes fucking my own bukkake demons
Spewing amongst the ripped guts of dustbin bags gurning
As magenta turned to grey I lost my way and in the dark
A humble crack whistle fisting for an echo
I tripped tripping was tripped and tripled took a tumble
Falling into my self made nothing
Crawling low a creeping ground gut an obscene outshut welted
Wedded to an unseen ode to insurrection without direction
I cried like a baby
Steps again after falling after falling after falling
Astray asleep walking parsley thyme and sage
Heals everything and everyday
A new beginning and I jump high
The salmon belly sun behind me

Re: PRODIGAL
Anger poem? Sounds like a fucking wild bucks party to me. All those guilty sons involved, they may just want to deny everything, and plead to their wives, girlfriends and bride to forgive and forget, but nobody ever really forgets... Because you know what they say about buck parties? "You can't have your bukkake and eat it too."
In all seriousness, whale. This poem rips! It's got great imagery, awesome lines and the technique you plough into in the second half of the piece is poetic jazz.

I like the story you depicted here, Whale, I like how you style progresses from the first line to the last, well done.

Thank you SW - just because you were one way once does not mean that you will always be - and if you are so be it :)
