Just A Question

do you ever feel guilty
about putting pen to paper?
that suddenly your words
take on a whole new life
because the ink swirled
ominously from your pen
where just moments before
they were only thoughts you knew
and you suddenly have the urge to undo
what has been done
you reach out to remove
only to find
that not only have they been seen
they have been commented on
and even though you asked for
honesty towards what should have been left
in the corpuscles of your mind
the impulse to know is almost as frightening
as the thought that others know
and the words "too late" resound in your head.
