I'll always be proud
I'll always be proud
when we go out
doesn't matter if we're fit and slim
or have extra pounds and a slight double chin
doesn't matter the color or style of our hair
or the type of outfit we choose to wear
doesn't matter if we want to be dapper or fab
or make other people think we are freakish and bad
doesn't matter if we are acting bold
and get perceived as way too old
doesn't matter whether they stare and whisper, or not
to me we'll always be nothing but hot :) ♡♡♡

I love this anthem to freedom of expression and accepting ourselves for who we are and choosing someone who is as confident in their identity as yourself.

Yes. In the end you've got to not only accept yourself for who you are but also try to be proud of who you are in a good way. Sort of like thriving instead of merely surviving....
