Death of a Lion
In song he roared words
He lived life on the edge
Thoughts became poetry
Wicked yet beautiful
Self destructive
With a lethal dose of talent
Taken by addiction

A label that could be placed on more than one. Yet its always the same story. Always ending in 'not what was', but what could have been.

This is a beautiful tribute, Tommie. And his roar lingers on through his poetry.

This is amazing. There are so many souls like this that have gone, and many more to come...

A great tribute to one lost so soon. Many have gone in this way but their influence lives on. Good write, enjoyed.
