Image for the poem Thank my lucky stars

Thank my lucky stars

I'd thank my lucky stars

If I would be blessed

Blessed enough with the sight

Of something new

I be blessed with wings

To fly

Fly away from the germs

Of the disease striken

I be blessed with a forte

Enough to burn me from sins

I be blessed with unforsaken glory

I'd thank my lucky stars

If I be blessed with the right

To find...

My birthmark on this graveland

I'd thank my lucky stars

If I be blessed

To have you.

Not a lover

But a family to love

For the rest of this era

I call home

I'd thank my lucky stars

And oh

If I be blessed to find the moon.

I would thank these lucky stars

Afar.
