MONSTERS INSIDE

We are all monsters inside...
fighting oppressive thoughts of suicide
We all have faults and malefic curses
and we do vile things to fill up our purses

We all have wicked, monstrous thoughts
but we paint and polish our skin that rots
and we leave our souls to be so defiled
leaving the unsuspecting fools beguiled

We plot against and pillage next door
and commit other acts that we abhor
but renewing our spirits is much too hard
We can buy a new face to cover what's scarred

We can buy a new body to replace what's flawed
while our hearts stay twisted and our minds stay odd
and our nature stays sinister, deceiving, and dark
We're all monsters inside that is our trademark

We are monsters inside until change we embark.
