The Sun
My heart
Settles like the still cold burn
Wrapping each blade of grass
With its pure, white earth
I sit still with the stones to await
The warmth of your sun
How sweet, you feel
Upon my skin
Inside myself
I beckon the sun
And the cold you bring
The ice, binding
Tempting me to stay
To become one.

the massive fists and hearts
There is good in me
And there is not
I walk a righteous path with dirty feet
Two thousand and seventeen year's
My species
Fight..
You see
The violence is for peace
You see
The absurdity in me
That is our humanity
A fight ensues within the walls we build
To separate
To segregate
The masses
The massive fists and hearts.

death is a beating drum
I feel
I do not feel
I went and died with you
my sweetest love
could carry on a breeze
my heart
my soul
is yours
I bury them, with you
it seems even death
cannot pri us apart
impatient for my time
I wait in semi-state
for all my breath's to breathe
for the heart that is yours to seize
for the darkness where we will meet
I wait, death is a beating drum.
I do not feel

left to weather
Cold and silent as the stone
I sit still
unable to move
I am left here
to weather the weather,
until I become, a million pieces of sand
destined to find my way back to you.
will I find you, when I look into your eyes?
will our love turn stale and taste of sadness upon my tongue
A lack of conviction has cost you, respect
and with it my open palm, up-turned
in readiness of your warm, gentle hand.
I sit still

sweet appleton haze
time in between us
does not exist
but is a dull void of lack lust colours and tastes
where I yearn to see
the bright, bold colours of our love
and taste you, dancing upon my lips
etching
carving into every peice I paint
You have left everyone dull
sketched out in some dark pencil.
Shadows, illuminating
someplace far from the sun
where moisture breeds mosses
slippery...
slimy green spreading mass
swallowing river rocks whole
and hiding what once was, when the sun shone here
An almost dusk
you are dusty, once...
does not exist

An epiphytic crush
feeding from talons of desire
I think of you
clinging effortlessly to the tree on which you suckle, life
nectar dripping down onto my palm and up the inside of my arm, your touch

Chewy is the grisle that,
With every movement of my tongue
finds you unpleasant to hold
You are the cancer lurking inside
A healthy soul.
Ferriting into each white cell
Rotting from the core out.
Have you threds attached to my back?

You hide behind me every time I turn
though I do not see you hiding in my shadow
I know you're there
I feel you
Cold and weighty
Concrete
Ice
Winters Sanitizing frost
I live between the grasp of seasonal curiosity
inside your sweet warm touch.

The difference between us
I abdicate
blind
wander, without destination
you sit, belted in
ready to shoot
without conscience
a genesis of inhumanity
encumbers the inagrable clay that is my heart
I have no willingness to kill
not even those who wish my family harm
would I welcome evil for
this is the difference
between me and you.

I cannot paint today
As colours dull
where your absence is found
inimitable
our footprints wash away with the intoxicating tide
retrospection
as my epiphany comes late
absolution
comes lubed with whiskey shots
sweet numb the wounds which time has left to heal
where distant is a soberness in which I feel your embrace imbue
please take me to pieces
find this burning ball of angst hiding amongst my love for you
and bring my colours back.
