day and night
As i lay Reaching out toward the light,
The sun went mad,
And jumped from the sky to sacrifice itself to the night.
As it hit the ground, it sang of its sorrow.
O stars, o night, how I yearn to be yours.
O stream of the galactic,
so serene to my core.
Push back to the past
Where as infant I lay.
Sauntering the night
Through the milky way.
When the sun reached the ground
It departed into stars,
I picked them up,
these burning aspirations,
and tossed them into the new night.
I watched as the sun
Finally fell out of its faith
And was taken by a drowsy wind.
The Sun now apart of the night
As stars
As I reach out to the moon
It disappeared in a swoop
It slit its on throat
And was now bleeding day break
Restoring the suicidal cycle of day and night.
The sun went mad,
