Fallen Angels

It's raining blood, Tears drowning out the cries of fallen angels
I once stood where you lay, Broken beaten and scarred
It's raining blood, Poured from the buckets of which we used to rely
I once stood where you scream, With a guilty look and hidden hands
We'd blindly reach into the magician's hat, Not knowing the danger
Pulled out bloodied rags with a puzzled face while producers laugh
I can hear the star's dissapointment, While the nightsky dims
I can feel the sun's anger, While the daylight explodes outwards
Those who guided us through the night now guard us at dawn
Those who sheltered our fears now fuel the fires we're thrown in
We belong to the crosses that we've nailed up so many children
Have we fallen from the sky, Or risen up from the ashes of yesterday?
Fallen angel or disguised demon, Our loved ones can keep guessing
The day we know the answer ourselves, We'll reveal the question
