Tomorrow's Sunrise

When tomorrow comes without me,
From now through all your years.
When the daylight breaks and finds your eyes,
Don’t let them fill with tears .

I never liked to see you cry.
I always wiped your tears away.
So if you must, grieve for me now,
But let it only be today.

Don’t be sad tomorrow,
thinking of what you didn’t get to say.
Just speak and I will hear you,
I’m not that far away.

Don’t waste one single moment,
Regretting what we didn’t do.
Just carry on and do those things.
I’ll be with you as you do.

I know how much you loved me.
Don’t ever think it didn’t show.
keep loving those around you, like I did,
if you want to let me know.

Even though I know you’ll miss me,
Wishing I were there to guide the way.
When you need me just look in your heart,
Because that is where I’ll stay.
