Like brittle and faded roses,  
pressed between pages of  
long forgotten books ...  
Books and roses I love.

Like memories filed away to never be forgotten. Enjoyed.

When you're about to lose someone you might develop an urge to preserve him somewhere, somehow. Poems are one of the best possiblities you've got to do so, as well as to get your emotions straight.

That's reassuring, isn't it, to preserve someone/something through poetry unless the poems get burnt or the hard-drive accidentally deleted :-).
