giving him freedom
he was that one thing I could hold onto
keeping him all to myself during chaos
he brought me peace within the prison
holding on to the cold steel bars with
white knuckles while his words grazed
my naked neck giving me what I needed
his beautiful tortured mind lived as he
touched my warm flesh and I felt him
sink into my heart giving him freedom
keeping him all to myself during chaos
he brought me peace within the prison
holding on to the cold steel bars with
white knuckles while his words grazed
my naked neck giving me what I needed
his beautiful tortured mind lived as he
touched my warm flesh and I felt him
sink into my heart giving him freedom

Wonderful piece Tommie! The idea of words bringing to you peace is a beautiful, much needed release. As your words have so often done for me. Brava mia Poeta!

A deeper, darker side of 'Freebird' bouncing around in my head now, miss. I think I'm missing the point, but I can't help it!
