No, the world is not for me.
it is for suburban Hitlers
who indulge in protocol wars
and middle-class wives
in Camaro jeeps.
No, the world is not for me
but for trendy young things
and stylish hipsters.
It is for politicians
who will caress your prejudices into a vote.
Or for doctors with dollar sign ethics
and wallet surgeons who sign insurance plans.
Or those sad soldiers that fall to their knees before a flag,
who believe killing strangers abroad will set us free.
No, the world is not for me.
who should not be let near paper or pen,
not with these grubby hands
and beer belly eyes.
that spend their days
laying cement and nailing joists
and trying to quench an unstoppable thirst

I think the comment about the soldiers is a bit harsh since they work so hard so you can sleep well and protected. If you don't know well about a topic, research, because your opinion is really twisted. The piece flows nicely though.
my opinion is based on logic and the futility of war

I think this is a really good write. People may think your opinion on soldiers is twisted but it's the sad truth. War is not the answer, last thing we need is strangers killing strangers over $ and religion.
But it is not d soldiers fault. Its d governments fault. Soldiers join for good reasons... But they do not fight bcuz they want to. I know it for a fact, even experience.

This last stanza is a great anchor to the wake up call most don't want to hear ... I loved "beer belly eyes" (shit I may to steal that)
Reading this makes me realize we leave some ugly ass footprints as we pass through, sadly we're cool with it as long as there's McDonalds and enough gas in the SUV that got us there.
