Conspiracy
So,
Our government has a plot
to form an alliance...
They keep it top secret,
Yet, they still demand compliance
Now, their only worry,
Is national defiance,
When, We, Us, the people
Learn the recent facts of science.
What I hear is chilling
...all the underground drilling
...organized killing
...unecessary billing
Our neighbors, who are willing
Our leaders, who find it thrilling
But, based on MY defiance
And MY self-reliance...
Now I am spilling
And hopefully instilling
The truth that the government has been too unwilling...
To admit...
What a load of shit...
And, by the way,
While you're underground
And the rest of "US" die...
Consider yourself in Hell

This is very well set out and has a brilliant rhythym to it. I myself am a big fan of rhyming which you perfectly executed here. Well done, look forward to reading more of your writing ;)

It's no secret they don't give a fuck about us. I was born into a white middle class protestant family in Northern Ireland and the world was made for me. My government beat the shit outta catholics who realised they were equals, before that they beat the shit outta blacks who realised they were equals, and now they beat the shit outta muslims because Westerners believe they are superior people and want me to believe that to.
What are you scared of? Terrorist attacks? Iraqis, Afghans, Iranians, Russkis, North Koreans? I'm not, I'm scared of fearing humanity. I'm scared of not trusting someone based on race, religion, money... I'm scared of wanting to fight my neighbour and actually believe in war. Wars on terror, drugs - it's all propaganda bullshit. Don't be scared of the truth. Work it out for yourself. And don't take what I say to be true because what I know will be different to you. But equally you can't take what you're fed daily by news to be the gospel. Or the gospel to be the gospel!
I'm of no nationality, name or religion now. I used to be scared of being a hopeless homeless guy on the street but I'd prefer to be him than an Eminem, a Britney Spears. I dunno what music you're into - but I pity the famous musicians I love. Listen to the lyrics some of them actually write. They talk about demons and selling their souls, they really do struggle and go through a lot of shit for their "amazing life". I don't love Eminem for his money, fame, or even his music... I love him unconditionally because any human being has to feel compassion when they see one person unable to live their own personal life due to forces seemingly beyond of their control. The government fucked him over in the projects, and now they fuck him over at the top of the pyramid.
Now look at people who taught love was a greater force than hate and reached out to the common enemy. From JFK to 2pac. People get caught up in the conspiracies of their deaths. I don't think it's a conspiracy the government killed them, directly or indirectly. But whether you believe that or not, the details don't matter and fighting over them just creates negative energy. I don't want you to be paranoid, I don't want you to fear anything but fear itself. But to answer your questions:
Yes, you probably did miss it. The plot is to stop you seeing a bigger picture of the world. And there are no secrets in life, just a lot of misguided people fighting against invisible forces for no reason.

I agree with everything you said, it's more than the government, its the one percent, I just didn't get any of that in the poem, , but did like it.
