You have grown into such an amazing young woman
The kind that every parent dreams of
The strength that you have found within yourself
Completely floors me everyday

You have survived being violated at such an early age
You have had your struggles
Because of the pain made some bad decisions
But rose out of that world of decay

Im so sorry that I didn't know what was happening
I will never forgive myself
But I refuse to dwell on that dark past
I would go back and change things if I could find a away

We have traveled a long and winding road together
So many meetings with drs, therapists and detectives
Each time hitting some type of roadblock
Eventually our only option left was to pray

Sure I know that you still have your bad times
It's sad but you probably always will
Thats nothing to be ashamed of
Just gotta learn to take it day by day

Baby girl never forget just how much Momma loves you
Im always here for you
No matter what the situation is
Whether it's to have a good laugh or chase away a gray day.
