Kurdistan

Kurdistan:
All these emotions and feelings are too overwhelming, Thoughts of everything and everyone start rushing through me, Pain of Kurdistan, and for century’s they just wanted rights to their land
These children are reaching out with such innocent hands and yet
The world turns away, what makes us this way, why doesn’t anyone have the balls to stand up and say?
This is not right, it is not ok
Think about it, just for a small part of a second, would you really just walk away, from someone who had your back just the other day, would you knock out and starve, beat, and allow excruciating harm come to the person who opened the door for you, well we do, we do
There is a nation out there, we used them and sent them to their deaths, They made us heroes of the world but we said it just was not enough, We wanted more and made up reasons for a ridiculous war we made promises and then ripped away their lives like it is a game, children on the street to afraid that we are going to kill them like we did their parents in their sleep, we promised them food and as they starved we laughed and watched them as we would eat, we were told they were terrorist and thieves we believed this because it was all over TV, It is not true, it is not true, it is not true, it is not true, I cried harder than the rain of Noah’s day
The flood gates had opened when I seen their face
They talk like none was listening about what was happening
And we did nothing, and we do nothing, and we are nothing, and we just did not know
We walk Proud to be the heroes, the world gave us the title with kudos, and all the other nations thought we brought back hope, but they didn’t know, they didn’t know, we didn’t know, that it was all a plot to take the petroleum, I mean why not it’s not like they needed it, a political act that’s killed and conquered many, sure I understand reason, but this is an act of spiteful treason, an act against humanity, Sadam was an angel to or race of humanity, Next to us who made promises just to allow death We need to start looking, We need to stop blindly believing, For to our allies who let us in to Kurdistan and made us to the world shine.
Their own brothers in religion, set them up to die, its more than a jealous anger between brothers, It’s because we lied, We aided in genocide because, we lied, we lied, we made promises, and we lied, and people suffered so harshly for being our allies, and we lied, we lied, they let us in and we got what we wanted, and then turned our back on them, as we lied and, we lied, we lied
I have a prayer and it’s more then I know is fair, Please Kurdistan forgive us for failing, we failed you, and we were wrong. Kurdistan will get there independence by their own strong hand, God can see what has been and was is happening, from a long line of royalty, humility and wisdom, the world never noticed I pray and I know all our eyes will open, People with a nation, a flag, a democracy, a liberated people who deserve to be, you have your own tongue your own history your stories your dreams and your numbers are larger than other small countries I pray this I know it will be Kurdistan will be a mighty country. (All the love of the world and the heavens pour over onto you and forgive your brothers and let them forgive you)
