Beyond The River (A journey of the mind)
The empty road to nowhere twists and turns,
unyielding desire yet to burn,
unforthcoming emotions shake, quiver,
staring at the side beyond the river,
a forbidden fruit to cross the dark shade,
yet despair and sadness begin to fade,
the moon is a compass to guide the way,
and the whispers of the wind starts to fray,
one step, two step, three step, no going back,
for anger is red, and death is black,
the sadness is blue, and the peace is yellow,
the colors as one are very mellow,
the threshold between dark and light no more,
warming the heart and the soul to the core.
