Sounds familiar, like wandering aimlessly through life with no direction or purpose. Sometimes in life shutting down is the only thing that seems to make any sense in a world that doesn't make sense.

This has a power to it
thru the repetition, but I
bet it would be even MORE powerfully effective
if you rewrite in some kinda shape poetry
For example do it like a staircase That's descending
