"God Has Provided Something Better For Us"(Hebrews 11.40)

Paul the Apostle says,
"Faith comes by hearing..the Word of God"(Romans 10.17).
Then he asks,"Have they not heard[the Word of God]?"(10.18).
("They" refers to the Jews, based on "Israel", verse 19).
Then Paul answers,"Yes,their sound went to all the Earth,
Their words unto the ends of the world"(10.18).
Whose "sounds," whose "words"?

He's quoting Psalms 19.1-4:
"The heavens declare the glory of God..
THEIR LINE IS GONE OUT TO ALL THE EARTH,
THEIR WORDS TO THE END OF THE WORLD."

Because of the first line,
we can paraphrase Psalms 19.1-4 this way,
"The heavens declare the glory of God.
The lines OF THE HEAVENS are gone out to all the Earth,
The words OF THE HEAVENS to the end of the world."

But what are "the lines of the heavens"?
Rays of light from the stars are "LINES" of light!
They are what "the heavens declare"(Psalms 19.1).
I mean, what else comes from the skies besides starlight?
So, if "The skies declare the glory of God,"
This requires that the RAYS OF STARLIGHT contain data,
Data which reveals("declares") the glory of God.

Let's review: Paul focuses on "the Word of God"(Rom 10.17),
He asks,"Have [the Jews] not heard [the Word of God](Rom 10.18)?
Paul answers, "Yes," and then he quotes from Ps 19.1-4,
"Their lines [of starlight] have gone out to all the Earth,"
Surprisingly enough,Paul is equating the data
In that starlight with the Word of God!
What an extraordinary equation on Paul's part!

But the ancient Jews couldn't decipher the data in starlight.
So it didn't do them any good.It was wasted on them.
No wonder Paul says,
"All day long [God] has stretched forth His hands
To a disobedient, gainsaying people.."(Rom 10.21).
This shows that the treasure hidden in starlight
Is useless to those who can't "read" that starlight.
That decipher-ability would have to wait til modern times
When science has developed spectroscopy!
(Which breaks light down into the 7 colors, etc).

Via the "redshift" in light from the stars of other galaxies
Science has discovered that those galaxies
Are ALL zooming away from each other.
Which means these galaxies were all closer together
The further back in time that you go.
This points to the conclusion that the Universe began, sprang forth
From a single point!Namely the "explosion" called "the Big Bang."

Paul says, the Jews "didn't receive the promises," ie,
The fulfillment of the promises(Hebrews 11.13,39).
Such as the promise of Psalms 19.1
("the declaration of the glory of God").
The heavens did NOT reveal "the glory of God" to them.
For the technology to "read" the starlight wasn't available.

Paul says, "God has provided something better for us,
So that they,without us,should not be made perfect"(Heb. 10.40).
That is, they should not receive the fulfilling of the promise.
On the contrary, the fulfilling of the promise in Psalms 19.1
Came in our day, not theirs.
Today,we can truly say, "the skies reveal the glory of God,"
The Glory of the BIG BANG by which God created the Universe!!

PS:How does the Big Bang gives glory to God?
The Big Bang Theory says all the matter in today's universe
Came into existence (as energy) all from within a single spot,
smaller than an atom,
All within a single second?
No, within a single nanosecond!
My point is that the vastness of the volume of cargo
contrasts startlingly with the smallness
of the passageway it passed thru,
Together with the narrowness of the timeframe involved!
