Don't They Know
Staring at the world that hates me so.
Wondering now, do they even know?
Know that this life I choose is a bit of both.
I enjoy every second, but will wind up a ghost.
They preach to me where it'll lead.
Like I haven't already seen.
They mistake my neglect for lack of care.
They have no idea that life's unfair.
Do they not know I wish I could run?
Move down the road into the setting Sun.
Do they not know I crave to get away?
Move somewhere far and very astray?
However life doesn't work like that.
Especially the life I have chosen to have.
The life of a fiend is pretty fucked.
But still they'll all stare and judge.
