Pain
What is pain to you?
Pain to a normal person
Is a scratched leg
A broken arm
A sprained knee.
Maybe the feeling
Of losing a loved one
To death.
What is pain to me?
To me,
Pain is the last emotion,
Shown after all else is worn away.
When there is nothing left to feel,
There is pain.
At the darkest hour
Of the night,
As the tears fall
And the blood flows
Pain is all I feel.
