She's Not Her
She used to be that girl with love in th world
That sunshine in her eye
Playing patty cake with the guys
And pig tails she tried to hide
She used to of been that girl
To pick me up when I was down
To never look back on the other days
Smiling with a big okay
The world was her play ground
Now she's that girl
No longer one with the world
She has her own groove now
Always looking back and always looking down
She used to love cuddles but still loves hugs
Don't come too close
She's gotten a little rough
Is that still the same girl with her hair down now
And hanging with the guys?
I came back to a mystery
Of tight jeans and lip gloss
Of diaries and loss
Is this that same girl
Who walked around
With the pig tails and gleaming eyes?
That sunshine in her eye
Playing patty cake with the guys
And pig tails she tried to hide
She used to of been that girl
To pick me up when I was down
To never look back on the other days
Smiling with a big okay
The world was her play ground
Now she's that girl
No longer one with the world
She has her own groove now
Always looking back and always looking down
She used to love cuddles but still loves hugs
Don't come too close
She's gotten a little rough
Is that still the same girl with her hair down now
And hanging with the guys?
I came back to a mystery
Of tight jeans and lip gloss
Of diaries and loss
Is this that same girl
Who walked around
With the pig tails and gleaming eyes?
