The Solitary Rose

All the roses in the garden have bloomed except for one
One that has not yet seen the light of the sun

One that has been sitting in the darkness all these years
One that believes what it's heard from its ears

But now that flower has opened it's eyes
To see what it has heard all these years were lies

Now that flower stands proud, strong, and taller than the rest
Because it knows that it is truly the best
