Death Penalty
A guard on each side of him leading him down the long dark stuffy hallway,
his mind blank but yet filled with every thought in the world.
The Shackles were grinding into the flesh around his ankles,
his socks stained dark red.
Handcuff irritation ate away at his wrists,
but these minor healable problems were the least of his concern
but rather the first sight of the chair where he would be strapped into.
Lead closer and closer to the chair was like an acid trip with every hour
of that trip thrown all into one dose instantaneously,
his fear had never been so scarce.
All his life was going to end within justa few seconds when those iv's were injected with lethal sedatives,
not even remembering what his crime was to deserve this crule permanent penalty froma temporary obsticle that he had caused.
Strapped down firmly,
needles injected into his veins and inclined at 100 degress.
The man injected the cyonide into his IV causing him to grow drowsy..
ya know how they say you see the light when you die?
well i saw it,
and it was the most beautiful and inviting light i had ever saw.
his mind blank but yet filled with every thought in the world.
