Breaking the Shield
Tied with my hands behind my back, it's impossible to break free, I won't last...
I built a wall to hold the pain in, added stone by stone, sealed shut with my own broken soul.
This abyss stayed with me, in my head, in my nightmares, screaming to be free.
Though I hold it back alone, there's no hope to keep it here, to keep it secret...
It's like a pain that keeps growing, a cancer that keeps spreading.
It's an empty void that never fills, a scene of black and cold.
A hourglass without its sand, a singer without a band.
A nightmare without an end, my darkness within.
Trapped inside a world of glass, it's impossible to see, I can't last...
