Key Is Only 3 Letters
I think our friendship has turned into a question To be or not to be, with each other. Why not? Why not let your enthusiasm have you sucked into something you might not have expected to happen with someone not your type, as you've said emphatically before. Why not trust your heart as a navigator Letting it bring you closer to me As the co-ordinates point and prefix to my heart. I mean, you don't have to search very far. Nor will you have to knock at its door... I've already opened up All you have to do is say yes... Say yes to the opening in my soul and fill up the last puzzle of what I think would be a perfect monalisa picture. Having our imaginations unleash us from the chains of norm, Allowing us to travel in mind to explore and find our inner child And together we can remember the times when some kwaito songs were too embarrassing to sing in front of our elders But now we can Sing them together and not care what type of stare the world gives us As we run unforgred with our crawling souls to remember how to make belief again All you have to do, is say yes We could have our bodies intertwined like roots to soil And all I'd want to do in that moment is hang on. Firm, till my hands melt and sync into yours. We could have your caramel skin paste itself onto my amber tones and maybe it could dilute. We could spend hours in silence just listening to the beat box melodies both our hearts make when were together as we cuddle and caress And then I could run my fingers cross country down your spine all the way to your tail bone Pick you up and put you on my hearts throne. I could hug your soul each time we meet and simply stitch my eyes to yours and maybe I could one day read your mind like you read mine. I had the guts to question our friendship And arrived at yes as the nodding answer to a new meaning of me and you And all you have to do is say yes.
