After Death
What is left after death
Seventeen moons, living a life breathing the same breath
All that I knew has now come to an end
Of what was everything beneath the clouds
Cradling what we were in my chafe calloused hands
Whats beyond our grave
Among a dozen white roses
To live from here, begin again
Where does one start to see past my scars
To resurrect after death
Become someone again in my own sky
Let the roses die, petals wither away
Preserve thy spirit in my darken plight
See beyond from where I am
Vows that were once golden
Trifold braid now broken, no longer tied
A breach has sufficed
Death shall do us part is the only way
Yet I've died inside
My love has ran dry
As you sought to be the sun in someone else's eye's
Finding you guilty of the crime
