Forever Is Not
One day you're here
And then you're gone.
My scars have bled
For you too long.
What do I do
With all these feelings?
With all my dreams
And all their meanings.
Forget? Let go?
Like they never were true?
But day and night
In my mind, it's you.
The thoughts of you
Drilling holes in my brain.
Every image, every song
Driving me insane.
My tears carving scars
Upon my face.
The pain inside me
Going up in a blaze.
I get worse and weaker
With each passing day.
Come back and make
This all go away.
I trusted you
To be by my side.
Give me all I need,
And make me your bride.
Forever in bliss
Was our destiny.
With you
I'd spend eternity.
But dreams were taken.
My hopes were shattered.
My love for you
No longer mattered.
My desires became
Twisted thoughts in all.
I'm breaking down
You won't catch my fall.
I'll fall then
Into this dark abyss.
No longer needed,
No hope for this.
I bleed your betrayal
Yet hurt for you so,
As I back away
And forever let you go.
You're freed...
And then you're gone.
My scars have bled
For you too long.
What do I do
With all these feelings?
With all my dreams
And all their meanings.
Forget? Let go?
Like they never were true?
But day and night
