Poem For Mother's Day

The Church is "the Bride of Christ"(Revelation 21.2;22.17).        
But it's also called "the Body of Christ"(Ephesians 1.22-23).        
Put these 2 ideas together and you have a female version of Christ.        
Jesus is the male Messiah,the Church is the female Messiah.        
But the Church isn't just limited to the religious institution.        
The Christian COMMUNITY is the Church.        
Christian SOCIETY is rightly called the Church.        
The Church is to take over the world(Luke 24.47-49;Acts 1.8)        
Til all of society is characterized by Christian values.        
All of society will become Christianized(Matthew 28.19).        
The Church and society will become one(Zechariah 14.4,9).        
Civilization as the Church = society as a Woman.        
Yes, Mankind as a collective Mother,mothering whom?        
The animals, the forests, the rivers, all of planet Earth.        
       
But mankind is destined to colonize the Cosmos(Psalms 8.3-6).        
For we read that the "heavens are the work of God's fingers"        
Specifically "God has ordained the moon and the stars"(Ps 8.3).        
"God gives Man dominion over the work of His hands"(Ps 8.6),        
Including "the moon and the stars" for they have been specified.        
But just what form will this "dominion" take?        
"He will put all things [including the moon        
and the stars] under man's feet"(Ps 8.6).        
God is promising that Man will walk on the moon and stars!        
("Stars" here is shorthand for planets orbiting those stars)       
Yes, Mankind is destined by God to populate the planets,        
Even to colonize the Cosmos - at least our present galaxy.        
The galaxies are all zooming away from each other.        
(So we won't be able to reach them.)  
The universe is expanding due to the force of the Big Bang        
Created by God when He said, "Let there be Light"(Genesis 1.3).        
But the stars in the Milky Way Galaxy are not going any where.        
They are held in place by gravity, awaiting our arrival,        
"The manifestation of the Sons of God"(Romans 8.19).        
We will turn the deserts of lifeless planets into Edenic gardens        
via importation of flora and fauna from Earth.        
Naked forlorn globes will become plant-clothed planets,        
Dancing spheres, whirling worlds, blissful biospheres.        
       
Who are we, the human race, that we should be chosen        
To be the MOTHER species, the parent organism?        
The Guardian of the whole Milky Way Galaxy(MWG)??!!        
Glory to God, Christ, the Church, the human race, the MWG!        
       
The Earth will be made uninhabitable when        
the Sun overheats 2 billion years, or so, from now.        
But by then the Earth, instead of being just one planet,        
It will have become many planets inhabited by humans        
(like a cosmic zygote "splitting" into many cells.)    
(When Earth settles Mars that will be the initial split!)        
Mother Earth will have produced many offspring living globes.        
Most of which will survive when the Sun blows up.        
Yes, Earth is destined to become Mother to countless offspring,  
all the living planets of the Milky Way of the glorious future.        
We will all be one big happy Family.        
That's something to glory in even now,        
before the time arrives.    
Let's celebrate THAT on this Mother's Day,        
Let's glory in the future Motherhood of Planet Earth!
