Forever She Spoke
This world can’t last
forever she spoke
The will of the wake
The quiet of stroll,
In a reflection of steps
Were dreams she foretold
Countless ages of travel
So distantly sown,
Was the heart of a Dove
In the rouse of a storm
And on the wind she had claimed,
It had traveled through dust
And had settled one night
In an unopened box
In a galaxy distant
With an Earth and a Clock
And try as we might,
The time never knows
The reflection of steps
In the stories she told
In Watch of a Nightingale
From the string of an echo
This world can’t last
forever she spoke
forever she spoke
The will of the wake
The quiet of stroll,
In a reflection of steps
Were dreams she foretold
Countless ages of travel
So distantly sown,
Was the heart of a Dove
In the rouse of a storm
And on the wind she had claimed,
It had traveled through dust
And had settled one night
In an unopened box
In a galaxy distant
With an Earth and a Clock
And try as we might,
The time never knows
The reflection of steps
In the stories she told
In Watch of a Nightingale
From the string of an echo
This world can’t last
forever she spoke
