Only ONE WAY Back to Heaven For Christ

Troops in the Soviet army in WW2 couldn't retreat(without orders)
For the troops behind them had orders to shoot anyone who ran away.
Likewise Christ couldn't run from His ron-day-voo with the Cross.
God the Father arranged that the gates of heaven would be
Closed to him unless He went to the Cross.
One way, yes, there was only one way back to Heaven.

If Christ had run as the Jews, coming to arrest Him, approached
Escaping in order to continue preaching, healing the sick, elsewhere
This would have made Him real rebel against God the Father!
He would have been overriding the Father's Will,
Rejecting the Divine Plan for His life.
Acting superior to, putting Himself above and before the Father.
Yes, Christ would have become a real-life Lucifer,
Imitating the archetypical rebel against God, Satan.
How could God the Father allow His Once-Son,Now-Lucifer
to come back to the Third Heaven, polluting it?
It's an absurd and mad notion, totally impossible!

As to Christ's claim that He could have called
"12 legions of angels" to rescue Him(Matthew 26.53),
Yes, sure,He could have called on them,
But would they have done His bidding? No way!
They wouldn't have helped him run away, avoiding the Cross.
For they knew the Father's Will was that Christ take away
the sins of the world by offering Himself in self-sacrifice.
Aiding Christ to escape His appointment with death-by-crucifixion
Would have made the angels into "fallen angels"
Just like the ones following Lucifer (in Jewish typology).
Christ would have, or may have, become an Antichrist figure.
So, the angels surely would have turned Christ down,
Somewhat like Soviet troops gunning down one of their own
Who dared to become a deserter, running from the scene of battle.

Christ "burned His bridges" behind Him
when He came down to planet Earth.
There was no turning back,
No "plan B" at all.
What extraordinary risk-taking this was!
This all-or-nothing level of commitment demonstrates
God's bravery, self-descipline,the total epitome of heroism.
This is the kind of God we serve.
