When You Took My Innocence

We met, a spark and a flicker
We walked, a red winter
We kissed, all the clocks stopped
You took me and I took you, our hearts stopped
We said the words that I now long for
We loved the life that is no more
You took the innocence I now yearn for
I think of you every hour of every day
I see you pass, casual and smiling
I smile back, tears always shining
I can't be a friend to an enemy I love
You are the one
You were the first that I loved
