Honestly?
I really don't know
what to say,
there's not enough
words in my vocabulary
to describe the feeling
of losing a future
I once thought was paved.
Your skin became so foreign
I don't know why I
ignored that warning.
all the red flags were up,
you caught me tipsy
and left me drunk in love..
I used to dream of the freckle
on top of your smile
and the way your eyes
lit up in the moonlight
Now Im left with nightmares
of the poison that escaped your lips
My ears just couldn't take the
blood curdling pitch of your lies.
I cry over the days
we spent planning our lives
it went from "forever and always"
to awkward pauses and long sighs
our love went from
hello, I love you, I hate you, and now goodbye.
