she prays I prey
she comes
she prays
I prey.
she kneels
asks God for a sign
I kneel next to her
holding a rugged cross
a sign of a rugged heart.
she stands
she goes
with a full length smile .
I stand
I watch
happiness all over my face
not because she came
coz she goes
AND
I saw what her mama
gave her.
