see... the moment of desperation asks for an answer that doesn't exist, but the brain takes us there when we are in need. Or when we think we are in need! Truth be told; peace is our own responsibility.
Peace is overrated and in fact, non existent. Live the insanity as best as you can.
Now, the poem doesn't scream Panama for some reason. The words are there but are slightly redundant. As I worked my way through the sentences I felt that the meaning was simple and brilliant but easily given. There must be a trap/trick somewhere. But where? Excuse my rant; you haven't been the easiest writer, that's all.

Asked myself that at times in my life Panama. I’ve fucked my peace away many times through the retarded decisions I’ve made. Nice write brother!
