soon her sister and brother are gone

a few years pass
and little black kitten
no longer a little black kitten
but a big black cat
all alone
still no home

a girl comes up
big black cat hisses and arches it's back
till the girl sits down
and gives it some meat

noow confused
but doesn't complain
every day that girl came
with meat
one day she stayed

now found a home
with this girl

she was once a little girl
she was alone
now she not

both rejected and unwanted
both mean and alone
