I wake up asking
Father, oh is this right?
Why is it so hard to hear your voice
and keep on fighting the good fight.

You know my desires and all my dreams.
Introduce the unexpected,
cause life is never what it seems.

Lord, I want to be so close to her,
but if this is not what you want.
Why do I keep pushing further?

Father, your love for her is indescribable,
so much bigger than mine could ever be.
Forgiving us the unforgivable,
you came down to set us free.

I wake up wondering
where will this lead?
I chose to trust, to pursue love.
I am the partner that she needs?

I am creating an irreversible bond.
But is my life still in your will or
is my heart too far beyond?

Jesus open her eyes and make her see,
that no universe can ever make,
the person she is meant to be.

Oh God, please reveal your mercy to this child of yours!
Who am I to see what she can not?
Open eyes and break her heart for what break yours.
Please God seize all of her life, please take all that she has got!
