Becoming A Man...

 I used to think I knew what it mean't to be a man.
But my opinion is so overwhelmed.
And it's like I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Cause I'm told that...
Being a man is determined by how big your biceps are.
How many girl's you've slept with,
And how many skull's you've crushed with a single punch.

But I'm still not convinced.
Although I've never been surrounded by great male role models.
I know right from wrong.
And I believe some men now days have it all wrong.
See,
The day you become a man isn't the day you turn 18.
It's not the day you lose your virginity.
We're lost in a lie,
So we try and try.
To become what a man is suppose to be.
Or so we think.
So each man steps to one another to prove a point.
To prove their tough and they can fight.
Then we forget what it's all about.

Maybe I'm wrong.
But if being a man is physically abusing a women,
Being untrustworthy or just plain stupid.
Then I don't want part in it.

And like peter pan I'll never grow up.
