Intangible Breath

I waked the dead to widow my pride
Remark, to be wed to the corpse’s bride
Dark red blight, a blood moon begins this murdercade
A midnight grave light deathscapade

Developing within this maggot eating flesh
A reason as thin as plastic coated wire mesh
You called it a sin to love with this much passion
But I can't be satisfied with this sexual inter ration

In a change of events, the raven screams “EVERMORE!”
Love inside this intensity breathes NEVERMORE
Pretzel crumbs drown in the acid of their segregation
I shouldn’t desire to prey on this axis of divination

Horizonal shadows on a freeze dried ocean represent
The loves that steadily decompose
I slip down each crevice as I trek to the present
Each drop of melt water that sticks to my clothes
Drips with the viscosity of bloody, loveless, abandonment

It’s pathetic but
I want to feel your breath on my neck
