Facing the World Alone.
Right now I'm fighting.
Because I know that I possess it.
In my fist is something alighting.
A light that will walk me
Through the darkness of the world.
They scream and act like maniacs,
Pollute the air that I breathe
With the smoke that I can't stand.
They blast ignorant lyrics,
Bull that fills my ears.
LET IT STOP!
I'm usual one to get what I want.
What I say now is...
"Little things won't bring me down."
I'm walking away from this crud.
I'll get my wings elsewhere
And fly towards the sun alone.
Slamming my fist into my chest.
Cut up like a diamond.
And watch darkness crumble.
Because I know that I possess it.
In my fist is something alighting.
A light that will walk me
Through the darkness of the world.
They scream and act like maniacs,
Pollute the air that I breathe
With the smoke that I can't stand.
They blast ignorant lyrics,
Bull that fills my ears.
LET IT STOP!
I'm usual one to get what I want.
What I say now is...
"Little things won't bring me down."
I'm walking away from this crud.
I'll get my wings elsewhere
And fly towards the sun alone.
Slamming my fist into my chest.
Cut up like a diamond.
And watch darkness crumble.
